Student Activities

We offer small combination classes with caring teachers dedicated to personalized instruction. Our curriculum is a balance between academics, outdoor education and fine arts. We participate in service learning partnerships in five local communities.

We believe that outdoor education is important for our students. Our close proximity to the river and Castle Crags State Park allow our school to offer frequent outdoor activities, which include walking field trips and enrichment field trips.

Our students participate in volleyball, basketball and track. We also offer field trips to places such as the Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding, day camp experiences at Kidder Creek, River Rafting Trips, etc. All students go on hikes on local trails in Siskiyou and Shasta County.
