ACADEMICS

We offer small combination classes with caring teachers dedicated to personalized instruction. Our curriculum is a balance between academics, outdoor education and fine arts. We participate in service learning partnerships in five local communities.

Castle Rock School is a small school focused on meeting the unique needs of our students. We believe that all of our students matter and that each one has something wonderful to offer to the world. At Castle Rock School we nurture each individual child as a caring, cohesive staff. Our goal is to help each student develop the skills they will need academically, socially and emotionally.

We are currently enrolling students, however spaces are limited. Please call or visit us today to see if our school is a good match for the needs of your child.

EXPLORATION

We believe that outdoor education is important for our students. Our close Proximity to the river and state park allow us to offer  daily outdoor activities, weekly walking field trips and enrichment field trips twice a month.

Tina the Emu hatched on Monday February 13th 2017. Our 4th and 5th grade class has been incubating two emu eggs for 55 days. This unique experience has created an entire group of little zoologists and has been amazing for their education on scientific method, responsibility and nurturing.

They are all so proud and excited!
