Castle Rock School
Educating Today's Students To Succeed in Tomorrow's World

Project Share After-School Program

The After School Program is open from 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. This program allows students to complete their homework, work on classroom projects, develop arts and crafts skills, or just play. Since 2003, students have been developing their sewing skills while creating tote bags, pillows quilts and costumes.

These students also form the Castle Rock Environmental Studies Team (CREST). CREST students take care of the beverage container recycling for the school. The money received from the recycling program provides rewards for the winning classroom and funds for the After School Program.

All students are served a nutritious snack provided by the school. The selection varies each day. Items served include milk, 100 percent fruit juice, pretzels, granola bars, veggies, fresh fruits and graham crackers.
