Educating Today's Students To Succeed in Tomorrow's World

Fall Festival

This event was put on by the Hive Keepers parent group. Parents that support this group have students at CRS in pre-school up to 8th grade. Over 150 people attended this year's annual event and had a wonderful time. Fall Festival celebrates the season with carnival type games such as ring the pumpkin, face painting, donut eating contest and rubber band gun target practice. One of the most popular attractions is the cake walk. We had so many cakes, cupcakes, brownies, and cookies donated that almost everyone was a winner. In addition, there was a costume contest with the following categories and winners:

  • Most Original Costume - Indika Broom
  • Spookiest Costume - Treyce Ashcraft
  • Best Over All - Tyyler Enright

Our Pumpkin Carving/decorating categories and winners are as follows:

  • Best pumpkin - Cameron and Candice Titus
  • Cutest - Hannah Koschnick
  • Spookiest - Maia Wilson

More than 40 volunteers helped with set up and running games. Cyndi Bolls, one of our parent volunteers who works as a surgical nurse, set up a mock operation in the schools greenhouse complete with a jar or werewolf drool!

To be a part of Fall Festival and other activities, check out the Hive Keepers group page for meeting times!
