Carol
Wheeler has been the program director of the preschool
since 2000. She is a trained, credentialed Montessori
teacher with over 31 years of experience. A graduate of
CSU Sacramento in Early Childhood Education, Carol received
her Montessori credential from College of Notre Dame.
She holds a Master's Degree in Human Development from
Pacific Oaks College, with an emphasis in Early Childhood.
Carol is a Director Mentor and Adjunct Faculty at College
of the Siskiyous.
Carol
has been the GATE Coordinator since 2004. She also coordinates
the Early Literacy for Families (ELFF) program located
at the preschool campus. Carol was honored with the 2002
Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year Award. Married to Gary and
mother to Kassie, Ryan and Randi, she resides in Mt. Shasta.
