Our
cafeteria is known countywide for its excellent food. All
of our meals are freshly prepared on site each day. It is
the policy of Castle Rock School that every child receive
a free breakfast and a free lunch, regardless of income. During
break time in the cafeteria provides cookies, fruit, milk
and juice for students to purchase. The students in 6th, 7th
and 8th grade can volunteer to assist in the cafeteria 30
minutes prior to serving lunch. While there, they assist in
filling the trays and serving to the younger students
Our
menus often consist of such items as freshly baked bread or
rolls, turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy. Other favorites
are lasagna, taco salad, ham and scalloped potatoes, pizza
and Chicken A-La-King on rice.
Parents
are always welcome to come to school and have lunch with their
child at a cost of only $3.00
